In addition to serving as the central receiving and shipping point for the department, the stockroom also offers self-service access to basic laboratory and office supplies during regular business hours at wholesale prices.

Enzymes, liquid nitrogen, and dry ice are available on a 24 hour basis.

All procurement for the department is handled by the biology purchasing group housed in the stockroom area. A variety of scientific product catalogs are available for your reference.

Stockroom and purchasing staff also dispense keys, provide petty cash reimbursments, and oversee the use and maintenance of department vehicles.
