Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, St. Louis, Missouri, USA
September 7th – 10th , 2003
The conference will give an opportunity for recent work to be presented either as talks or as posters. The schedule will also allow plenty of opportunity for informal interaction.
Immediately preceding this conference, there will be two day conference (September 6th and 7th) "Molecular Systematics of Bryophytes: Progress, Problems, and Perspectives", hosted by the Missouri Botanical Garden and co-sponsored by the Deep Gene Research Coordination Network. MOSS 2003 will begin with a talk by Brent Mishler, the director of Deep Gene, on the importance of integrating systematics and genomics.
Deep Gene will make available grants for students (defined
broadly to include undergraduates, graduates, and postdoctoral fellows)
who wish to attend both meetings.
