And the Lab...

Graduate Students:

Wade

Wade Ryberg - Combining his love for herps with his tolerance of extreme heat (due to a well-adapted Texan phenotype), Wade is studying trophic interactions in metacommunities of collared lizards and their orthopteran prey in threatened glades of the Missouri Ozarks.

Brian

Brian Allan - If loving ticks is wrong, Brian doesn't want to be right.  With a general interest in the ecology of infectious diseases, Brian is focusing on the impact of forestry practices in the Missouri Ozarks on human risk of tick-borne diseases.

Amber

Amber Burgett - Have you seen that movie "Holes"? That's Amber's research in a nutshell - she loves digging ponds to examine amphibian community composition as a function of habitat characteristics and life-history traits.

Undergraduate Students:

Dave Harris - Dave is interested in behavioral ecology, and is currently focusing on models of the effects of movement on functional response, disease transmission, and community structure.

Ruth

Ruth Poland - Ruth is working on community assembly and the effects of different top-predators on beta-diversity in pond communities for her senior thesis. She worked at the Tyson Research Center in Summer '07.
